Moore Good Knews! It seems as if the Coaches Corner has generated some jmoore good knews. Jim has written to me that our own Boys 6th team has additional honors to brag about. You have all read about our Twin Towers and Stanford Middle School in Long Beach. Now applaud the efforts of Tyler, Jake, and Jordan as Knight 6th graders who have made an impact at Miraleste Middle School. Once again, a little Knights Magic has worked it's way onto the hill as our 6th graders made the "B" Miraleste team that is historically for 7th and 8th graders who did not make the "A" team. In another Knights First, Tyler is the FIRST 6TH GRADER named CAPTAIN of that Miraleste team! Is it also too much for us to brag about the fact that both Quinn and Sam of our own Boys 8th are the resident studs of the "A" Miraleste team? Talk about sweeping some honors!
Nicely done Knights and thanks to Jim Moore for some good 'ol fashioned
chest popping pappa pride to bring this to the Knights family.
Looks like we have as much KNIGHTS MAGIC to sprinkle around as TINKERBELL!
Great, great job and your accomplishments reflect well on us all. This tourney is the brainchild of both BadDog Ed Billings and TooTall John Yule. Of the 18 foursomes needed, it is reported that we are over half way there. We have opened the registration for foursomes to ARC and SGV. They should go quickly so let's try and keep this a Knights thing and take all the spots before they can. The tourney is at Cimarron Golf Club in Palm Springs on Friday afternoon, March 14. By the way, check this site for a new information module. The SP Knights will now create a KNIGHTS GOLF CLUB. Coach Billings has once again contracted an actual PGA TEACHING PRO to give us lessons and to help bring our GOLF CLUB into existence! To begin, we will enlist from our b-ball ranks of players. Soon, we will bring into the club players who want to belong to a golf team and are not necessarily basketball players. Please keep your eyes on our website for more info. Exciting times are on the way!
This is a great time to be a Knight! |
