Calling all Knights, parents and players!
I know you don't know it, but our Knights have our very own rock star in the
family.
MARK BORST-SMITH, brother of Sam and Chris, son of Dave and Janice; AND one
of my all-time favorite Knight alumni players, has hit the big time.
Mark and his band, A CURSIVE MEMORY, has just released their first CD and
will go on tour soon.
They have recently been featured in BILLBOARD MAGAZINE and are one of the
truly talented young bands to come along in a very long time.
Mark plays keyboard and bass guitar and writes the music.
Please read the following from proud Mom, Janice, and let's all get behind
her request and let's all look for the CD.
It is really just a matter of time before our club is canceling a practice
and heading to the Staples Center or the Nokia Theatre to see Mark CLOSE UP
AND PERSONAL.

Hello friends and family of friends,
Sorry for this second notice, but it is FINALLY
time to be able to request/listen to our boys (“A Cursive Memory”) on
Radio Disney. Their cd (“Changes”) is officially out, someone saw it
at Best Buy, (not me). It is supposed to be a Walmart and Target, but
again, premature? No sightings yet!
To request a song (VERY IMPORTANT), you may go
to: www.radiodisney.com
Sit for about 30 seconds, then you will see pop
up on the screen ‘REQUEST A SONG”, and so you will click that, and a
list of bands and songs will be seen. Thankfully, “A Cursive Memory”
is very close to the top, so click “Everything” – a Cursive Memory.
Your requests (and your kids and grandkids) will
definitely matter!! The more submits, the better for them. Then Disney
will play a second song, if all goes well.

to their song, (that has been on yahoo front page, myspace front page,
etc.), go to:
www.myspace.com/acursivememory . Click on their video, it’s kinda
funny.
Then today a friend called and said their video
was playing at the Hollister clothing store in the del amo mall. Haha!!!
