INTRODUCING...MANNY SAENZPARDO, KNIGHTS MASTER AT ARMS!

Hello everyone.

I now have the pleasure to introduce Manny Saenzpardo to you all as my friend and as a trainer deluxe for strength and conditioning and for the science of plyometrics.

Long have I desired for our program to be able to provide a knowledgeable coach for the area of physical training.

I must admit that in the past, many a personal trainer has tried to convince me to let them offer their services for our many Knights (and their parents).

Each time, I have been hesitant to allow someone I really didn't know to take charge of the physical aspect of my beloved Knights training.

I have known Manny for quite a few years and have known of his passion for physical training.

He has been a body builder of some repute winning local area competitions (Mr. Marina del Rey, Mr. Culver City) and going on to the State of California Body Building Championships.

More important to me than mere championships and competitions is the fact that Manny has proven to me to be quite a teacher in the training of individuals who seek to raise their personal level of fitness to the highest possible level.

His demeanor is one that could be described as a quiet, easygoing type of personality. Yet, he does possess the physical presence and the character to impose a no nonsense type of atmosphere when his clients do train.

You are invited to read a testimonial on this website from Tim Wrightman regarding his recommendation of Manny.

For those of you who do not know Tim, he is a San Pedro product from Mary Star of the Sea High School. Tim starred at Mary Star, went on to become an All American football player at UCLA, was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame in 2003, and was drafted by the Chicago Bears of the NFL.

As the starting tight end for the Bears, Tim became an integral part of the Chicago Bears ultimate success in the winning of the Super Bowl.

Tim was introduced to Manny when Tim dabbled in an acting career. As his parts were predictably of the physical variety, Tim needed to be in better shape than when he played.

Please read on this website what he thought of the relationship that he developed with Manny in the course of that training.

I have asked Manny to develop a plyometrics program for our Knights of all ages. Plyometrics is an low impact, highly specialized series of exercises that are designed to produce results in a most dramatic fashion.

The exercises can actually be made to jump higher, improve quickness, or increase strength and stamina.

Also important to note is the fact that Manny believes tremendously in the pairing of low impact strength and conditioning plus the science of plyometrics.

The prospect of working with our youth on the Knights has become an intriguing and exciting project for Manny. He has heard me so many times praise the work ethic of our players and he would very much like to see it in action. More than that, he would like the satisfaction of working with and helping to develop the athletes that he knows we have.

This website will now begin to take reservations regarding the spots for the strength and conditioning and plyometrics program that Manny has designed for the Knights. The first planned workout is hoped to be September 5.

There are only so many spots, so please let me know if you would like to reserve your place.

Please e-mail me at: spkdirector@sanpedroknights.com and I will send you more information about classes and prices.

Manny wishes to begin the workouts in early September. The plan is to offer 4 1 hour sessions on Wednesdays per month with 2 Saturdays a month additional when the Knights are not in tournament.

That would be a minimum of six sessions per month.

Please take the time to read about Manny from the letter of Tim Wrightman.

Then decide if this is for you.

Then, let me know and I will direct you to Manny.

Jump higher? Move quicker? Run faster?
